Various actuators are used in the composition of mechanical devices, and this time we will introduce a double-acting power cylinder. It is a device that converts the pressure energy of a fluid into mechanical energy of linear motion. When the pressurized fluid is directed into the cylinder chamber and acts on the piston surface, a force is applied to the piston, which is calculated by (area of the surface where pressure acts) × (pressure).
