[CLA Case] Ink Level Detection for Printing Machines [Case Study of a Printing Equipment Manufacturer]
Using the liquid level sensor "CLA"! Introducing a case study on detecting ink remaining in printing machines.
We would like to introduce a case of ink level detection in a printing machine using the non-contact liquid level sensor "CLA," which can be installed on various tanks due to its electrodes being compatible with PET film. (Detected substance: ink) The printing equipment manufacturer faced challenges because optical methods could not detect ink based on its color. They desired a sensor that could be easily attached to tanks, making mass production easier and maintenance simpler later on. Therefore, they adopted the non-contact "CLA." By installing it in a way that adheres to the outside of the tank, they were able to manage the ink liquid level non-contactly. 【Current Challenges and Requirements】 - The sensor for managing the liquid level in the ink tank is integrated into the printing equipment. - Optical methods cannot detect ink based on its color. - A sensor that can be easily attached to tanks is preferred, as it facilitates mass production and simplifies future maintenance. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

basic information
【Benefits of Improvement】 ■ Can manage the liquid level without being affected by the ink color, and can also manage the liquid level at four contact points. ■ Can be easily attached from the outside of the tank, allowing for mass production, and during maintenance, it can be easily replaced from the outside of the tank. ■ Unlike contact types, it does not directly touch the liquid, making it less prone to deterioration and allowing for longer use. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
