Since the launch of the magnetic card reader in 1983, the PDC-30 has been adopted for personal authentication in security systems at financial institutions and medical facilities, as well as for customer (member) management in commercial facilities. Since its release, our magnetic card readers have been supported by our domestic technical center through in-house development, manufacturing, and maintenance.

■Safe and Clean with Silver Ion Power! Antibacterial processing ensures safety in the food industry and medical settings. The PDC-30 can be safely used in medical and food environments that require hygiene management, thanks to its antibacterial specifications compliant with JIS Z 2801. It is not just a surface antibacterial specification; the antibacterial agent is blended into the material itself. This ensures that the antibacterial effect lasts semi-permanently without being affected by wear and tear. ■No special driver needed, just connect to the USB port! The PDC-30 does not require special software for data transfer to a computer. It operates with the USB Human Interface standard built into Windows OS. You can simply plug it into the computer's USB port to send magnetic card data as keyboard input. (*Note: PDC-30UR is not supported. Please use the dedicated driver.) ■Supports convenient kanji output for reading medical cards It supports reading magnetic cards with kanji codes, which are mainly used for medical cards. It can send patient numbers along with kanji information such as names in character codes tailored to the application being used. (Pre-configuration is required in the setup app.)
