Ultrasonic cleaners are extremely effective at removing dirt and abrasives that have entered narrow gaps!
Water is essential for ultrasonic cleaners, but this water contains components known as dissolved gases that are not visible to the eye. When tap water is poured into the tank, the dissolved gases are initially dispersed throughout the entire volume, but over time, the amount of dissolved gases at the bottom of the tank decreases due to the weight of the water. As the amount of disruptive gases for the ultrasound decreases, the cleaning efficiency improves. To stabilize the cleaning ability, the water poured into the tank is not used immediately; there is also a method that uses surfactants to evenly distribute the concentration of dissolved gases. However, we focused on eliminating the dissolved gases themselves. To forcibly remove dissolved gases from the water poured into the tank, we developed a microbubble generation device. As the water passes through this device, the dissolved gases are expelled as bubbles, much like wringing out a cloth. In this new product, the water in the tank is circulated by overflowing, and as it passes through the microbubble generation device installed along the path, the number of bubbles generated decreases significantly until the dissolved gases are reduced to a negligible state, at which point no bubbles are produced. Operating under these conditions eliminates factors that attenuate the ultrasound, allowing it to act directly on the items being cleaned, significantly improving cleaning efficiency.

Applications/Examples of results
Cleaning of metal product polishing powder and dust.
Detailed information
-
Adopting 40kHz, which causes minimal damage to metals. It is ideal for cleaning metal products from polishing powder and dust.
-
Adoption of a highly maintainable immersion-type vibrator. Since the main controller, vibrator, and stainless tank are each designed as separate units, it is possible to accommodate parts replacement and changes in tank size.
-
By installing walls internally, the tabs are divided into two layers, adopting an overflow structure that collects water overflowing from the main tab into the adjacent tab. Since the dirt floating on the water surface continuously flows away from the main tab, there is no reattachment of dirt when lifting out cleaned parts. Additionally, the water that flows into this tab is absorbed by a sheet for oil recovery, which also minimizes water contamination.
-
The stainless steel dedicated cover prevents foreign substances from entering the tab and prevents moisture evaporation. This cover can be used regardless of the installation position of the controller.
-
For an ultrasonic cleaning machine that performs cleaning while the generated ultrasound reflects off the walls of the tank, the strength of the tank is an important factor. The SonicStar tank has increased the thickness of the stainless steel material compared to other cleaning machines in the same class, significantly enhancing the rigidity of the body. Additionally, by integrating the frame and the tank through sealing, it suppresses ultrasonic attenuation caused by the tank's own resonance. The controller on the outside of the tank can be repositioned using a dedicated rack, allowing for flexible adaptation to different installation locations in various workspaces. The casters at the bottom of the body enable easy movement, and adjustable feet allow for level installation.
