The electromagnetic sieve shaker from Retch is used not only for research and development, quality control of raw materials, work-in-progress, and products, but also for monitoring production processes. The AS200 series offers three models tailored to different purposes and budgets. For higher processing volumes, the AS300 Control can handle up to 6 kg, while the AS450 Control can accommodate up to 20 kg. It can perform both dry and wet sieving. The "Control" type models are sieve shakers that can be adjusted not only for amplitude but also for "acceleration at the sieve bottom," allowing for high reproducibility even across regions with different power supply frequencies. Additionally, all "Control" types can be calibrated, making them suitable for quality management in compliance with ISO9000. Retch holds a patent (EP0642844) for the electromagnetic drive system used in the AS200, AS300, and AS450 models. This drive generates a three-dimensional shaking motion, evenly shaking samples across the entire mesh surface. As a result, it can withstand loads, operate quietly, and efficiently classify samples in a short amount of time.
