A tap-type electromagnetic sieve shaker has been released from Retsch. It combines a horizontal reciprocating motion of 280 times per minute with a tapping motion of 150 times per minute from above, making it easier for samples to pass through the sieve mesh. A dedicated soundproof case is also available to reduce noise.
