When applied with a dispenser, its high profile allows it to be used for securing larger components with significant gaps or as a corner bond instead of underfill. Since the adhesive cures after the self-alignment function of the cream solder has taken effect, it does not hinder the self-alignment of the solder or the sinking during solder melting.
