This is an introduction to a case study that solved the issue of a pneumatic equipment manufacturer wanting to shorten the lead time of their current products made by other companies. After conducting detailed interviews, we formulated a hypothesis to reduce some of the processes. As confirmed, there was no change in the product specifications, so we cut the work processes and mass-produced the items at Kokko Spring Industry. As a result, we achieved a 30% reduction in delivery time compared to before.
