ROS 2 compatible robot controller ROScube-X

ADLINK Japan's partner company, Rishiyo Electro, will hold a web seminar titled "RealSense Benefits! Development Methods for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) Using ROS2 - From Mapping to Real Machine Operation Using Simulation" online on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. Our West Japan Branch Manager, Kazuhiko Oguchi, is scheduled to speak. Recently, there has been a growing focus on the automation of transportation, such as AMRs, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing labor in logistics and manufacturing sites. This seminar is targeted at those considering development who may be wondering, "I want to develop an AMR, but I don't know how to start...," "I'm developing an AMR but struggling with hardware selection...," or "I don't understand the development methods for ROS2..." We will introduce the necessary hardware and the development methods for the robotics OS "ROS2." ADLINK's alliance partner, Marubun Corporation, will be exhibiting at the Japan IT WEEK Spring "Embedded Edge Computing Expo" held from April 6 to April 8. Prior to the international ROS developer conference ROSCon 2021, the official local ROSCon event, ROSCon JP 2021, will be held in Tokyo. ROSCon JP 2021 is organized by the general incorporated association ROSCon JP in collaboration with Open Robotics. ROSCon JP 2021 will provide a full day of learning about the latest topics in ROS, offering a great opportunity for all ROS developers, from beginners to experts, to engage with the Japanese ROS community. Participants will be able to hear and learn from various technical talks by experts, as well as discussions that only ROS enthusiasts would know, and exchange ideas with fellow developers.
