The TECHSPEC beam shaping plano-convex cylindrical lens balances strictly controlled tolerances with pricing that accommodates mass production. Unlike spherical lenses that focus light in two dimensions, cylindrical lenses focus light in one dimension. An AR coating option is also available, allowing for the minimization of stray light generation and maximization of throughput in laser applications.
