Our Powell laser line generator lens, optimized for a 0.8mm diameter laser beam incidence, converts the laser beam into a uniform laser line light. Typically, cylindrical lenses or rod lenses are used for line formation of laser light, but the lines formed by these lenses tend to be bright in the center with a wide line width, while the edges of the line are darker and have a narrow line width (Gaussian distribution).
