This spray uses petroleum-based organic solvents instead of the chlorine-based organic solvents previously used in traditional Black Lube. It contains environmentally friendly graphite. Black Lube N is a product that disperses ultra-fine particles of graphite in an organic solvent with a special binder. When sprayed, it dries within a few minutes to form a thin black lubricating film. It has excellent release and lubricating properties. The touch-dry time is about 5 minutes. The thickness of the film is approximately 10 microns and adheres uniformly. Its thermal conductivity is comparable to that of metals, making it a good conductor. Among solid lubricants, it has the highest electrical conductivity. It has a small coefficient of thermal expansion and strong resistance to thermal shock. The solvent used is a hydrocarbon with low toxicity.
