This is an introduction to the processing of making holes in glass that we perform. This processing is essential when attaching hardware to glass, such as glass doors or glass nameplates, as it involves creating holes in the glass. There are two types of processing: "round hole drilling" and "square hole drilling." Since making holes in glass reduces its strength, we recommend performing strengthening processing in conjunction. <Features of Round Hole Drilling> - Processing that creates holes used as insertion points for hardware - Hole sizes range from 5φ to 40φ in 20 different variations - For tempered glass, a hole diameter greater than the thickness of the glass is required <Features of Square Hole Drilling> - Processing that creates square holes - The corners of the holes must have a rough finish with a radius of at least 5R (5mm radius) to maintain strength - For polished holes, a radius of at least 12R (12mm radius) is required.
