We would like to introduce a case study of the implementation of 'MOBOTIX' at a certain nursing care health facility. Originally, monitoring cameras were installed within the facility, but they could not be utilized for monitoring users, making it difficult to investigate the causes of accidents such as falls when they occurred. Therefore, we introduced Konica Minolta's IP network camera system 'MOBOTIX'. After the implementation, the cameras installed in 19 locations within the facility allowed for accurate monitoring of user movements, enabling situation confirmation and prompt responses. [Challenges] ■ The cameras were not fulfilling their role in monitoring users. ■ It was difficult to investigate the causes even when accidents occurred. ■ The effort required for staff to check monitoring footage was significant.
