Applications ● It can be used for all metals, including ferrous, non-ferrous, magnetic, and non-magnetic materials, as well as non-metals such as magnets and glass. ● Casting parts ----- pinholes, flow lines, shrinkage cracks. ● Forged parts ----- forging cracks. ● Welded areas ----- cracks, voids, poor bonding, through defects. ● Fatigue phenomena in metal materials -- grinding cracks, heat cracks, cracks in cutting tools. ● Leak testing ----- tanks, boilers, pipes, etc. ● Seal testing ---- seal inspection of heat seal packages. Usage The dye penetrant testing method involves applying a red penetrant to the surface defects of the test object, removing excess red penetrant with a cleaning solution, and then using a white developer to apply capillary action to the red penetrant that has penetrated the defect, revealing defects that are not visible to the naked eye.
