Its high light stability and minimal coloring make it an optimal UVA for paints with strict color requirements. RIASORB UV-400 does not interact when used in amine-based or metal-catalyzed paints. The recommended applications for RIASORB UV-400 are solvent-based and water-based automotive and industrial paints. When used in combination with hindered amine light stabilizers, it exhibits a synergistic effect, contributing to the prevention of paint discoloration, maintenance of gloss, prevention of cracks and bubbles, and prevention of interlayer peeling.
