Japan Metal Additive Manufacturing Technology (JAMPT) was established in November 2017 by partners who aspire to spread and permeate metal 3D printer technology in Japan. JAMPT is a service bureau (SB) that can provide a comprehensive service from powder development and manufacturing to prototyping and mass production, making it the first of its kind in Japan in the field of metal 3D printing. With the pioneering presence of Koiwai Co., Ltd., academic backing and technical support from Professor Akihiko Chiba of Tohoku University (Institute of Metal Materials), and the global network and information power of Sojitz Corporation, we will demonstrate advanced capabilities in the field of metal 3D printing. As part of a super-smart society in manufacturing, while standing at the forefront of metal 3D printer technology, we aim to think about AM technology in the manufacturing field and overcome challenges together with our customers, providing unprecedented new products and new value chains to society, thereby contributing to the creation of a prosperous society.
