Checking the intensity of ultraviolet light is an important step in verifying that the appropriate dose of ultraviolet light is being delivered to ensure effective decontamination. International Light Technologies (referred to as ILT) has been developing and manufacturing various light measurement systems for 55 years. All meters come with calibrated detectors, ISO17025 certified NIST traceable calibration certificates, and a sturdy carrying case. The detectors are connected with cables approximately 1 to 2 meters long, allowing for remote measurement. The meter can be turned on and measurements can be taken immediately.

We offer illuminance meters tailored to different light sources and applications, including types that cover the entire UV-C range, narrowband types with a central wavelength of 254nm, broadband types with a central wavelength of 270nm, and those for pulsed light sources. Additionally, UV spectroradiometers can measure the light intensity at each wavelength, which is crucial for validating equipment used in sterilization disinfection. As light sources age, the intensity of specific wavelengths may decrease. By measuring the actual performance of UVC disinfection systems, necessary adjustments can be made to understand the capabilities of the equipment, ultimately ensuring the health of patients and medical staff.
