We would like to introduce the applications of nanofibers in electronic materials. In the field of electronic materials, there is a demand for the development of materials for electrodes and separators used in high-efficiency solar cells, fuel cells, and batteries, as well as transparent conductive filters used in displays, touch panels, and functional glass. In 1973, during the era of rising prices due to the oil shock, a company specializing in the maintenance of medical equipment was established in Ogori City, Fukuoka Prefecture. At that time, there were only three employees. This marked the beginning of MECC.
