Our company manufactures PREP powder for metal 3D printers. PREP powder for metal 3D printers is produced using the Plasma Rotating Electrode Process (PREP) and is characterized by "high sphericity," "absence of satellites," and "no gas defects within the powder." Objects created with PREP powder demonstrate high fatigue strength even without HIP treatment or heat treatment, confirming a reduction in build time and costs compared to conventional powders. Currently, the use of simulations in metal 3D printing is advancing, but simulations assume a 100% sphericity for the material powder. Conventional atomized powders have lower sphericity, leading to discrepancies between simulation results and actual build outcomes.
