Rain intensity sensor suitable for monitoring sudden heavy rainfall such as guerrilla rain!
The "OW-RFI-01" is a rain intensity sensor that integrates a tipping bucket rain gauge with a rainfall intensity calculation unit. You can set any rainfall intensity value as an alarm threshold. By utilizing the alarm contact output, you can control alarms and beacon lights. 【Features】 - Adopts a tipping bucket rain gauge, eliminating the need for regular kerosene replacement. - Holds the 6-minute accumulated value for the next 6-minute sampling period and outputs a stepped analog signal of 0-100mm/h with a 4-20mA range. - Alarm settings can be configured via internal setting switches. - Can also be used as a tipping bucket rain gauge with pulse output (optional). - The "OW-RFI-05" is also available, with a measurement range of 0-500mm/h and a minimum unit of 5mm/h. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Ota Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. believes that people's lives are influenced by the environment, economy, culture, and even health, all of which are affected by climate. Weather observations, such as wind speed, are essential activities for reading the "subtle signs emitted by the Earth," represented by phenomena like global warming. They play a crucial role in understanding, predicting, and responding to the subtle changes in nature, thereby shaping the present and the future. Ota Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd. considers weather observation instruments as an "interface connecting nature and humanity" and has developed and provided high-precision products using cutting-edge technology for many years. Based on a traceability system constructed according to national standards, including the Measurement Act and the Japan Meteorological Agency's certification standards, we are expanding various inspection facilities and equipment while conducting rigorous product checks. Weather observation instruments are often used in harsh environments, and the reliability of the products depends on how accurately they can measure data in such conditions.
