There are three types of bonnet designs for Taiwanese forged steel gate valves. The first is the bolted bonnet type, which uses male x female joints, spiral wound gaskets, and is made of F304/graphite. A ring joint gasket can also be used upon request. The second is the welded bonnet type, which employs a threaded leak-proof welded joint. A full penetration welded joint can also be used upon request. The third is the pressure seal bonnet type, which utilizes a threaded pressure seal bonnet joint.
