Universal HSS-E-PM drill 'GU 500' developed by a German global manufacturer with over 125 years of history.
The 'GU 500' is a powerful HSS-E-PM drill optimized for medium lot production, which could not be covered by existing small lot high-speed drills. It features excellent wear resistance due to the use of powdered high-speed steel (HSS-E-PM) and multi-layer coatings. It has a high-precision clamp with an end mill shank tolerance of h6. The unique rounded groove shape provides excellent chip evacuation. With a tip angle of 118° and a 4-facet point grind, it enables high-precision hole machining with excellent bite performance and centering capability.
