[Case Study] Revitalization of Work Machinery for Tire Specialty Stores

Realizing repairs and functionality improvements for models with discontinued manufacturer support.

We would like to introduce a case of machine repair and improvement conducted by Naox Co., Ltd. At a tire specialty store, there was a request stating, "The constant load spring of the impact driver hoist that has been in use for 40 years has broken, and since the manufacturer's support has ended, I would like to repair it and continue using the old model that I am accustomed to, rather than switching to a new model. Additionally, the existing spring is too strong, so I would like to adjust it to a more suitable strength." In response, we investigated the actual machine and selected an appropriate spring. Along with this, we redesigned and manufactured the surrounding components to accommodate changes in installation dimensions, making the structure easier for maintenance work.
