Megnajet, a UK-based company, was established in 2006 as a specialized manufacturer of ink supply systems for inkjet printing. Traditionally, ink supply systems for inkjet printing primarily utilized the so-called negative pressure control method. However, in recent years, various print head manufacturers have been developing circulation-type print heads as their main products to meet the increasing demands for high ejection performance and compatibility with a wide variety of inks. Circulation-type ink supply systems, unlike traditional negative pressure types (non-circulation systems), involve a technically challenging system that links meniscus negative pressure control at the print head nozzle with circulation conditions. Megnajet's products are called the CIMS series, with the design concept of all models centered around small-volume ink supply systems.
