We have launched an innovative product lineup that applies ultrasonic continuous welding technology to the CFRTP manufacturing process. ■ Ultrasonic Continuous Welding Device SW1000LS It performs welding of CFRTP structures using unique technology. 1. Continuous welding, not just spot welding, is possible. 2. There are no limitations on the welding direction, allowing for high adaptability to workpiece shapes. 3. There are cases where a very high bonding strength of 50 MPa in tensile strength was achieved with material A. 4. It can be mounted on multi-axis robots to accommodate large workpieces. ■ UD Tape Layup Device Ultrasonic technology is used to lay up UD tape onto resin-molded products or metal parts. 1. By completely welding instead of temporarily fixing, it is possible to eliminate the need for heating press in subsequent processes. 2. With an actuator that controls a constant load, it follows the surface irregularities of the workpiece at high speed, achieving stable welding quality. 3. It can also be mounted on multi-axis robots to accommodate large workpieces. ■ UD Tape Manufacturing Device (Opening/Impregnation) UD1000MS This device manufactures thermoplastic UD tape. 1. Various combinations of fibers (CF, GF) and matrix resins are possible. 2. It is possible to impregnate high-viscosity thermoplastic resins while suppressing voids using ultrasonic technology.
