【Anti-fouling Additive】For UV-curable Acrylic Hard Coating
DURASURF DS-7030 Series
The Durafurf DS-7030 series demonstrates water repellency, oil repellency, and slip resistance when added to UV-curable acrylic hard coat agents.
By simply incorporating it into conventional UV-curable acrylic hard coat agents, high dirt resistance, fingerprint wipe-off capability, water and oil repellency, and slip properties can be imparted. With an addition amount of about 1-5% (solid content ratio of 0.2-1.0%), it chemically bonds with the hard coat agent, allowing for long-lasting effects. 【Features】 ▶ High Durability Co-polymerizes and integrates with the components of the hard coat agent. ▶ Excellent Dirt Resistance Expect excellent dirt removal properties, such as reduced fingerprint adhesion and improved wipe-off capability. ▶ Low Cost Compared to similar products, it demonstrates effectiveness with a small addition amount of 1-5% (solid content ratio of 0.2-1.0%).

basic information
In general, materials with low surface hardness and susceptibility to scratches, such as plastics, are often treated with a hard coat on their surfaces. Among the various types of hard coat agents, acrylic-based ones are commonly used, and among them, UV-curable coatings are particularly widely used due to their ability to be processed at low temperatures and their short curing times. When applying this hard coat agent, adding the "DuraSurf DS-7030 series" is expected to enhance functions such as dirt resistance, water and oil repellency, and slip resistance.
