The CentreCOM Secure HUB GS980EM series is a Layer 3 intelligent edge switch that supports the new PoE power requirements for next-generation network edges, including PoE power supply and PoE passthrough. ■AT-GS980EM/10H This is a PoE++ switch powered by the separately sold 300W power supply AT-PWR300-70. It features 8 ports of 1GE capable of delivering up to 90W of PoE++, and when three AT-PWR300-70 units are connected, it can provide 90W on all ports, with a maximum of 720W of PoE power per chassis. ■AT-GS980EM/11PT This model has 8 ports of 1GE capable of delivering up to 30W of PoE+, plus an additional 1GE port that can receive PoE. It is a PoE passthrough compatible switch that can be powered by the included AC adapter or via PoE.
