"Thio-tag Chloride" can protect SH-containing compounds such as cysteine thiol groups under physiological pH, room temperature, and air atmosphere, and can be used as a selective stabilizer for analysis. It can be easily dissociated under acidic conditions at pH 3 or through EDTA treatment.
