Contec has developed a high-performance FA computer designed for 24-hour continuous operation, compatible with Intel's 13th generation (Raptor Lake) Core processors, and will begin accepting orders for the "VPC-1800 series" (hereinafter referred to as the new product) starting in February 2025. The new product is an industrial computer for the factory automation (FA) sector, intended for 24-hour continuous operation in critical equipment control systems and manufacturing sites. It is the latest model in the VPC series, which has a strong track record of adoption since its launch in 2009. By incorporating the Intel Q670 chipset and high-speed, high-reliability DDR5 memory, it achieves high computational and rendering capabilities. While maintaining compatibility in dimensions with the previous model, the "VPC-1700 series," and inheriting features such as the ability to install three PCI boards, it has achieved approximately 2.8 times the performance improvement in processing speed, making it suitable for edge computing environments that require advanced image processing and high-speed control processing. * Based on a comparison of PassMark values between the previous model VPC-1700 Core i5-85000T and the VPC-1800 Core i5-13500TE.

Contec has developed the "VPC-720 series," a powerful and compact FA computer that supports high-performance processors and offers a comprehensive maintenance menu, including on-site support for up to 7 years, with orders starting from August 22, 2024. This product is equipped with one low-profile expansion slot, three Gigabit LAN ports, eight USB ports, HDMI, and two DisplayPorts, providing excellent expandability. The product configuration adopts a BTO (Build-To-Order) method, allowing options such as up to 32GB of memory and hot-swappable hardware RAID (mirroring configuration). It maintains almost the same external dimensions as the previous model, the "VPC-700," inheriting its functionality while significantly improving computational performance to approximately 2.8 times that of the previous model, as compared between the VPC-700 Core i7-6700TE and the VPC-720 Core i7-13700TE based on PassMark values. Additionally, we offer after-sales service, including replacement of faulty parts, for up to 7 years, ensuring peace of mind for users.

Contec has started accepting orders for Microsoft Office LTSC 2021 Embedded pre-installed industrial PC products from March 14. Office LTSC 2021 Embedded is an office product designed for specific purpose terminals such as digital signage, POS, information kiosk terminals, reception terminals, production line control, and medical fields, similar to the operating system Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC. It does not receive feature updates that are typically delivered automatically, allowing it to be used in its initial state. This eliminates the need for re-evaluating the necessary terminals with each feature update, significantly reducing maintenance workload.
