Examples of Applications for Digital Ultrasonic Flaw Detectors (Usage Examples of UI Series Products) Material Inspection: Non-destructive testing of internal defects in materials such as round bars, pipes, flat plates, grinding wheels, and glass using ultrasound. Weld Inspection: Inspection of spot welds, laser welds, rebar welds (in structures), automatic welds (in bridges/pressure vessels, etc.), gas pressure welds, rail pressure/welded joints, and extremely thick welds. Thickness Measurement: Measurement of corrosion/reduction in thickness of container bottom plates and various piping.
