We have introduced the SGTHA temperature and humidity sensor terminal (for Sigfox communication) at Maspro Denkoh in Nisshin City, Aichi Prefecture. LPWA stands for Low Power Wide Area, which refers to a "wireless communication network for IoT" that achieves low power consumption and long-distance communication. ◆What can LPWA do? - Labor-saving maintenance of devices with low power consumption LPWA devices can operate on batteries for several years to 10 years, allowing them to be installed in locations where power installation is not possible. - High population coverage rate One of the LPWA communication standards, the Sigfox service area, has a population coverage rate of over 94%. 【Examples of LPWA usage】 - Meter reading By attaching LPWA devices to gas and water meters, meter reading data can be transmitted. - Integration with GPS Location information obtained via GPS can be transmitted over the LPWA communication network.
