[Aizu University Joint Research] Creating a 3D flexible model to achieve simulations close to reality!
Our company is conducting technical research and investigation to model three-dimensional flexible objects using the physics engine 'AGX Dynamics' on the simulator "Choreonoid," enabling multi-body simulations with rigid body models. In the fiscal year 2019, we created this three-dimensional flexible object model, and we have achieved research results that improve gripping force by using gel grippers (finger caps) on robotic hands. To reproduce similar simulations on Choreonoid, we reconstructed the three-dimensional flexible object model into a gel gripper shape and realized it.
