The Omuta City Zoo promotes the concept of being a "zoo that conveys animal welfare." Animal welfare means that animals are healthy both mentally and physically, and are in harmony with their environment. We make various efforts every day to help the animals in the zoo approach such conditions, and we hope that visitors will also think about animal welfare. As part of our animal welfare initiatives, we have newly introduced our thermal imaging camera, the 'FLIR E6-XT.'
