To manufacture products of superior quality, international major paint and coating manufacturers needed to use a new grade of titanium dioxide (TiO2). The new material consists of finer and lighter particles, which tend to form bridges over the vibration feeder system already installed in the storage silos. Therefore, the feeder was replaced with a live bin bottom, and four "VA-12 (1-1/2") AirSweep units" were installed approximately 60 cm above the live bottom.
