We would like to introduce a case study of problem-solving using general-purpose jigs for inspection that we conducted. The request was for a jig for measuring the dimensions of plates. By machining steel materials, we set roll pins with taps according to dimensional tolerances. We achieved precision on the top and bottom surfaces through machining to address height, distortion, and play, and we performed general inspections while sliding on the upper part with square materials.
