"Interference filters" are monochromatic filters that transmit only light of a specific wavelength through the interference of non-absorptive thin films that have been vacuum deposited. The "MIF-S type" is a metal interference filter composed of three layers: a popular metal half-layer, a transparent dielectric layer, and another metal half-layer. It cuts off the secondary transmission band and detects only the desired wavelength.
