Pluss, which manufactures high-quality DIN rail power supplies for industrial applications, offers a product line for railway applications based on thorough expertise.
The Plus DIN-RAILway power supply is a new lineup for railway applications, equipped with functionality that has been proven in tens of thousands of industrial applications worldwide. A unique feature of the new Plus DIN-RAILway power supply is its structure, which allows for very easy installation on DIN rails. In railway applications, power supplies must demonstrate exceptional functionality in several respects. Equipment failure is not acceptable, even under extreme stress conditions that exceed the specified ambient temperature range. Traditionally, the input voltage requirements for power supplies in railway applications differ from those required in other industrial applications.

Applications/Examples of results
SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) Currently, the Puls power supply is installed in about 800 electrical cabinets along railway lines throughout Switzerland, controlling the power lines within trains. Puls has gained immense trust from its customers through innovative solutions and comprehensive technical support. In railway applications, power equipment must also meet special requirements at 50 Hz and 16.7 Hz (standard equipment), and the Puls power supply complies with those standards. A decisive factor in selecting power equipment for this application was the availability of the model for decades after its design and launch, as well as the support for that product. Performance in terms of cost is, of course, important, and the solutions enabled by Puls were far more cost-effective than existing facilities.
