The SAF MMA, designed with Bostik's patented technology, demonstrates unparalleled characteristics in durability, flexibility, long-term reliability, and chemical resistance. SAF is engineered for bonding various dissimilar substrates such as metals, plastics, and composites, enabling structural adhesion while maintaining the flexibility and fatigue resistance of the substrates. From flexible grades (400% elongation) to ultra-structural strength (30% elongation), open times can be selected according to individual requirements, ranging from less than 1 minute to 90 minutes. Thanks to the low exothermicity and shrinkage of Bostik SAF, structural adhesion can be achieved without inducing residual stress or deformation in composites. Its excellent thixotropic properties allow for extensive bead application on vertical substrates, and the fast curing speed significantly reduces production costs. SAF enables bonding to a wide variety of dissimilar substrates. Additionally, all Bostik structural adhesives can be used for applications in ships, transport vehicles, automobiles, signage, and industrial uses.
