The "Medical Box" is a refrigerated transport container for pharmaceuticals that utilizes easily processed EPS (expanded polystyrene) as insulation material. In evaluation tests, it successfully maintained the temperature of the contents at 2-8°C for 33 hours. By using two different types of heat-retaining agents in combination, it is possible to maintain the temperature range of 2-8°C for an extended period.
