For measuring low concentration methane and high concentration carbon dioxide.
The Vaisala CARBOCAP MGP262 multi-gas probe for measuring methane and CO2 is designed to be directly installed in piping to measure off-gas during the biogas upgrading process. The biogas upgrading process is a challenging environment where high concentrations of carbon dioxide are present, requiring the precise and reliable measurement of low concentrations of methane.

basic information
The strength of MGP262 lies in its ability to achieve both profit and environmental consideration. The exhaust generated when upgrading biogas to biomethane or CO2 can be captured for use in greenhouses or the food industry, or further converted into biomethane through methane generation or Power to Gas (P2G) processes. This allows for the realization of both environmental protection and economic benefits, particularly because emissions of CH4 incur costs in the form of carbon credits. 【Features】 - Measurement range: 0–5% CH4 - Measurement accuracy: ±0.15% - Compact standalone unit certified for explosive environments. - Durable integrated self-cleaning optical sensor. - Low ownership costs. No consumables or sampling required. *Please feel free to contact us for more details.
