We have examined the merits and demerits of airframe tents and traditional pole tents, and through repeated testing, we have considered what structure is optimal for airframe tents. It was found that a structure consisting solely of U-shaped airframes does not stand on its own, leading to issues where flexible frames are easily affected by wind, compromising stability. Therefore, it was necessary to develop a durable and stable frame structure to address this issue. The new frame structure that emerged from this is the X-shaped frame "Xframe," which is adopted in ANDAIR tents. The feature of "Xframe" is that by joining U-shaped airframes into an X shape, it resolves the disadvantages of airframes that do not occur in traditional tents, such as "lateral swaying in strong winds" and "reduction of main space due to the enlargement of frames necessary to secure ceiling height," thereby creating stability. Supporting "Xframe" at a high level is the "QwikFrame" technology, which combines three special materials to distribute the stress on the X parts and increase the strength of the joints, preventing air leakage.
