Overlap the rolled ends and secure them with double-sided tape. Place the item you want to shield inside, positioning it parallel to the magnetic flow for maximum effectiveness. ● Bending The magnetic shielding effect is also effective when bent. By bending the permalloy and covering it as shown in the photo, you can achieve a shielding effect. At Ohtama, we can also manufacture box-shaped magnetic shields in various sizes. ● Blocking Simply blocking as shown in the photo can also demonstrate the shielding effect. While the shielding effect is reduced compared to when fully covered, effectiveness can still be achieved depending on the distance from the magnetic field source and the strength of the magnetic field.
