Polypropylene has excellent release properties as a material and is highly flexible, making it ideal for use as a release film when molding complex shapes. Additionally, it is an environmentally friendly material that is unlikely to produce harmful decomposition products when burned. Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin, with a maximum usable temperature of 140 to 150°C. The surface of "Shinetsu PP Release Film" can be selected as either matte or smooth. Our unique manufacturing technology utilizes the crystalline transformation behavior of polypropylene to control the matte and smooth finishes. Furthermore, we use only high-purity polypropylene resin without any additives, eliminating concerns about catalyst poisoning, unexpected reactions, or contamination from additives. "Shinetsu PP Release Film" is manufactured in a clean environment, making it suitable for applications in the electronics materials field where cleanliness is required. For applications requiring even greater release properties, we also offer products coated with a highly effective thermosetting silicone release agent from Shin-Etsu Chemical, applied to the surface of the PP film in our clean environment.
