Generally, when producing simple-shaped collars in large quantities, molds such as cold forging are used. Therefore, if mass production is involved, costs can be reduced, but there is an initial cost for the molds. However, for medium lot products (100 to 1000 pieces per lot), using molds incurs initial costs, leading to higher total costs. Thus, for medium lot production, manufacturing through cutting processing can reduce costs, and for this product, we achieved a 20% reduction in costs through our cost-down proposal.
