A lathe using a single-action four-jaw chuck can process not only round objects!

- The lathe rotates the workpiece and applies a tool to it, allowing for processes such as outer diameter and inner diameter machining, groove machining, and screw machining. - Our company has four CNC lathes (three horizontal and one vertical) and four general-purpose lathes. Instead of the commonly used "three-jaw scroll chuck," all our lathes are equipped with "single-action four-jaw chucks," enabling various types of machining. <Advantages of single-action four-jaw chucks compared to three-jaw scroll chucks> - Each jaw moves independently to secure the workpiece, allowing for the fixation of not only round shapes but also square shapes, and enabling machining of eccentric parts of shafts. - The position of the jaws can be finely adjusted, allowing for precise machining of geometric tolerances such as parallelism, perpendicularity, and concentricity. - While three-jaw scroll chucks require the preparation of "soft jaws" for each workpiece and machining process, single-action four-jaw chucks eliminate this need, making them suitable for small-batch, varied production rather than mass production. - Our company is also capable of hard chrome plating and polishing, allowing for smooth completion of products. *If you would like more details or have any requests, please feel free to contact us.
