High-performance metal: High corrosion-resistant stainless steel "Marine Stainless"
Stainless steel screws with "corrosion resistance to seawater," "acid resistance," and "high strength."
The catalog is available for download from "Ipros Monozukuri." Conventional stainless steel is prone to localized corrosion in solutions containing chloride ions, such as seawater, or in chlorine environments, which limits its use and requires frequent maintenance. "Marine Stainless MS-270" is an austenitic stainless steel that has superior resistance to chloride corrosion and stress corrosion cracking compared to SUS316 and duplex steel. Additionally, by adding molybdenum, nitrogen, and copper to high chromium and high nickel, this special stainless steel significantly improves corrosion resistance and also excels in acid resistance. With "Marine Stainless MS-270," maintenance-free operation becomes possible.
