What is vacuum casting? Vacuum casting is a method that uses a master model created through processes such as 3D printing or machining to produce a silicone mold, which is then used for replication. In a vacuum chamber, polyurethane resin is poured into the mold to replicate resin products. In vacuum casting, a vacuum state is created within the vacuum chamber, allowing the resin to flow into every corner of the mold, making it difficult for air bubbles to form. This method enables the production of high-precision resin products in a very short lead time and at a low cost.
