The ERS series SCARA is a "screw tightening dedicated robot" proposed by ESTIC. By controlling the SCARA robot with a nut runner, centralized management of the robot system without a PLC becomes possible. Additionally, eliminating cycle delays caused by communication with the PLC allows for a reduction in cycle time. The robot is optimized for screw tightening, and system setup is easy with the selection of the nut runner and tightening programming.
