Thanks to its fanless design, there is no noise generated by fans, allowing for comfortable use in office environments. Additionally, there is no power consumption from constant fan operation, enabling low-cost and efficient operation. It also features the "D-Link Green Power Saving Function," which reduces power consumption based on link status and cable length. Moreover, the "DGS-1016L" and "DGS-1024L" are equipped with a loopback detection function that detects ports where loops occur between switches under the port and the chassis port, as a measure to prevent wiring mistakes.
